Bio

Tania Matos Lozano, B.A., C.P., is an accomplished legal professional with comprehensive experience in government and legal affairs, higher education administration, and litigation support. She presently serves as a Paralegal in the Office of Government and Legal Affairs at Loyola University New Orleans, where she provides high-level legal and administrative support to the Director of Government and Legal Affairs. In this capacity, Ms. Matos Lozano conducts detailed legal and factual research, prepares and reviews legal documents, manages confidential information, and facilitates communication between internal departments and external agencies.

Prior to her current role, she served as a Legal Assistant and Paralegal with Forman, Watkins & Krutz, LLP, where she supported attorneys through all phases of litigation, from case development to trial preparation, while maintaining the highest standards of precision and confidentiality. Ms. Matos Lozano also held key administrative positions at Tulane University, including Operations Coordinator at the Cowen Institute and Program Manager for the Upward Bound Program, where she oversaw compliance, budgetary processes, and program operations.

She earned both her Bachelor’s Degree in General Legal Studies with a Minor in Human Resources and her Associate’s Degree in Paralegal Studies from Tulane University. Ms. Matos Lozano is fluent in English and Spanish and is recognized for her professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence in all aspects of her work.
