Get Involved. Express yourself. Have fun.
With more than 120 active student organizations at Loyola, it won’t be hard to find something that fits your interests. We want to introduce you to a few ways you can learn about events and curricular activities happening virtually and on campus!
Welcome Back Week: August 24-28
Welcome, Class of 2024! Interested in attending events (either in-person or virtually) that will allow you to meet new people? Make sure to join the fun for Welcome Back Week during the first week of school. This week will include programs hosted by departments and student organizations to help you kick off the school year. For a list of events, follow us on social media @loyno_slm, check out our HowlConnect portal, and explore our Virtual Programs!
We are excited to introduce you to our student engagement platform, HowlConnect. HowlConnect is our student engagement platform that connects you to meaningful campus opportunities, such as student organizations and events (both virtual and on-ground), and helps you easily manage and track your campus involvement. You sign in to HowlConnect through your Single Sign On (SSO) portal and create an account to track your co-curriculars and check into events. If you are having trouble logging in, please reach out to the IT Help Desk at 504.865.2255 or at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Corq is the mobile app for HowlConnect. Corq helps students discover co-curricular opportunities on campus, virtual, and at other local universities, view active student organizations, and access your Event Pass, so you can easily check into events. You can use the Perks filter to view events that have “free food”, “free stuff,” and “credit.” Download Corq for free from your app store and stay updated with everything going on at Loyola!
University Programming Board
The University Programming Board (UPB) is the official programming board under the Student Government Association. Students collectively plan campus-wide social events, both on ground and virtual, throughout the year that embody the spirit of New Orleans. From hosting live bands in the quad to virtual game nights, UPB brings the Wolf Pack together for unforgettable celebrations that define life at Loyola. Follow us at loyno_sga on Twitter and Instagram for more information and updates!
