When and Where Do I Check-In for Wolf Pack Welcome?

We look forward to welcoming you to campus bright and early on August 18 for our opening session! Please download the Guidebook app and review the schedule in the app before the first session so you know where to report. We will have plenty of staff on campus to provide you with instructions and support. You’ll have a chance to meet with your Krewe Leaders on the first day to get a printed schedule and more detailed information.

Where Can I Park?

If you will be driving to campus, please visit the Maps and Directions site for detailed information on how to access campus. Parking is available free of charge during Wolf Pack Welcome in both the West Road and Freret Street Garages. Both garages will also have an unloading zone available on the first floor for you to move your items.

What Is the Parent Schedule?

Parents and family members can assist students in moving into their residence hall during the week of August 15. We will also have optional, light programming for parents and caregivers during Wolf Pack Welcome. The schedule of parent events can be found on our website page and in the Guidebook app

What Are the COVID-19 Requirements?

All students are required to submit a negative COVID-19 test dated within 72 hours prior to their first visit to campus.

  • Residential students will submit their negative COVID-19 test as part of their scheduled move-in process (please check your email for detailed instructions from Residential Life).
  • Commuter students must submit their test result to Loyola’s Public Health Portal prior to arriving at Wolf Pack Welcome. Follow the instructions on this page to access the portal and upload your results.

We all have a role to play when it comes to keeping the Wolf Pack healthy and safe. Arrive on campus prepared with a basic first aid kit that includes a thermometer, medications, and COVID-19 at-home tests. You can order free at-home tests from covid.gov/tests. We also recommend students bring at least a one-week supply of face masks. N95 or KN95 for the best protection. Although masking is optional on campus at this time, we recommend that Loyola students, faculty, and staff follow the CDC’s prevention strategies according to the current community level in Orleans Parish. Visit our FAQ website for more best practices.
