Bio

Mrs. Gardner became the Director of Gift and Estate Planning at Loyola University New Orleans in 2014.  She formerly served as the Director of Alumni Relations for six years and as the Executive Director of the University of New Orleans Alumni Association from 2001 until her hire at Loyola in 2008. Prior to her position at UNO, Mrs. Gardner was an attorney with Hoffman, Sutterfield, Ensenat, and Bankston. She is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, the New Orleans Estate Planning Council, and the New Orleans Planned Giving Council.  She is Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP) through The American College.

Mrs. Gardner graduated with a bachelor of arts from Vassar College, a Masters of Business Administration from the University of New Orleans, and a Juris Doctorate from Tulane University. She has two children and is married to J. Warren Gardner, Jr., an attorney at Christovich & Kearney LLP.  Monique’s great-uncle, Harold Gaudin, S.J., was the seventh president of Loyola.
