Marcelle Highstreet became the Director of Gift and Estate Planning at Loyola University New Orleans in 2022. She has over 25 years of experience in Advancement work and has worked in research, annual, major and planned gifts. She is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, the New Orleans Estate Planning Council, and the National Association of Charitable Gift Planners. 

 

Prior to her career in Advancement, Marcelle practiced law with the firm of Sacks and Raines (formerly Sacks and Eason) primarily in the area of admiralty law. After practicing law, Marcelle segued to a career in Advancement.   

 

Marcelle holds undergraduate degrees in history and political science and a master’s degree in political science from the University of New Orleans, where she was a teaching and research assistant. She is a graduate of the Loyola University New Orleans College of Law where she was a research assistant to Professor Dennis Rousseau and a member of the Moot Court staff. She and her husband, David, are the parents of two Loyola alumnae.
