Bio

Heather Breerwood joined the staff of Loyola University New Orleans in October 2012.  She is Georgia native who moved to New Orleans in 2004 to attend Tulane.  Heather graduated cum laude with a Bachelors of Science in Psychology in 2008. 

Prior to joining the Institutional Advancement team, Heather was a grant writing intern for the Jefferson Performing Arts Society. While at JPAS, Heather worked on planning the 2012 Pasta & Puccini Headdress Ball and coordinating volunteer activities for the Leading Ladies Guild. Heather also worked as a teacher in New Orleans’ charter schools.  

Heather is a student in Loyola's MBA program and a co-president of the MBA Association. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, reading, working out, and spending time with her family and dog in the outdoors.
