Bio
Denver H. Travis, Ph.D., CFA is the holder of the Chase/Francis C. Doyle Distinguished Professorship in the College of Business at Loyola University New Orleans. His area of expertise is in investments, specifically exchange-traded funds, derivative and fixed income securities, and investor behavior. His research has been published in The Journal of Investing, The Journal of Fixed Income, The Journal of Wealth Management, CFA Digest, Financial Decisions, the Journal of Financial Education, and Advances in Financial Education.
At Loyola, Dr. Travis is the manager of the CFA Institute University Affiliate Program and the Bloomberg Certification program. He is also an advisor to the One-Million-Dollar Loyola Student Managed Investment Fund. The combination of these three programs is what he likes to call “THE LOYOLA WALL STREET TRIFECTA” to successfully train Loyola Finance students for Wall Street level careers.
