As part of the Stewardship and Donor Services team, Angela Vachetta Turnbull is responsible for the successful planning of events initiated by and assigned to the Office of Institutional Advancement. She plans and manages events for donors, alumni, faculty, students, parents, and other members of the community. 

Additionally, the special events manager is available to consult with the university community in the planning and execution of events of all kinds, including advising on event-related university policies and procedures, event logistics, and recommending vendors and off-campus event venues.

Turnbull joined the Loyola family in 1999 and has over 30 years of experience in not-for-profit public relations and event planning, having previously worked as community relations and event coordinator for the Louisiana State Museum and the New Orleans Symphony Orchestra.

She is a member of the North American Association of Commencement Officers.
