St. Joseph's Day, or the "Feast Day of St. Joseph," is on March 19th.
A unique New Orleans tradition was started
by the city's Sicilian immigrants in the
late 19th century and continues to this day... This tradition is the St. Joseph's
Altar.
The altar is offered to St. Joseph in thanksgiving.
