Ph. D. Physics, University of Colorado, 1992.

Current Research Interests: The direct experimental detection of gravitational waves. A large laboratory known as LIGO  is currently collecting its first scientific data. I also work closely with the group running the ALLEGRO gravitational wave detector.

Past Research Interests: precision tests of gravity, equivalence principle, pulsar astronomy

Selected Recent Publications: "Upper Limits on a Stochastic Background of Gravitational Waves", Phys. Rev. Lett. 95, 221101 (2005) astro-ph/0507254

"Calibration of the ALLEGRO resonant detector", Classical and Quantum Gravity 22, S965-S973 (2005);

"A Data Analysis Technique for the LIGO-ALLEGRO Stochastic Background Search", Classical and Quantum Gravity 22, S1087-S1096 (2005);

"Optimal combination of signals from co-located gravitational wave interferometers for use in searches for a stochastic background", Phys. Rev. D 70, 062001 (2004) gr-qc/0403093
