PAPER ASSIGNMENT: Search the history journals in JSTOR for an article appropriate for this class. Once you choose the article read it carefully and write a one to three-page abstract (specific directions will be handed out in class) which summarizes the argument, remarks on types of sources used, and contains your critical assessment of the effectiveness of the essay. The paper is due May 2.
Final Exam (Chapters 15-21, internet readings, class lectures and discussion) May 9, 9-11:00 a. m.
