The mission of the Loyola University - New Orleans Collegiate MENC (Chapter 757) has three parts:

• University Level: to provide extracurricular programs and opportunities for Loyola students to better prepare them for a career in music education
• Community Level: to be an advocate for music, music education, and the Loyola College of Music both within the University community and in New Orleans by sponsoring programs and service projects to help meet the needs of the community
• National Level: to promote the reputation of the Loyola College of Music at the state, regional, and national levels, to provide networking opportunities with Loyola alumni and with music teachers and coordinators around the country, and to follow the standards and mission statement of MENC:The National Association for Music Education
