On-farm Seed Multiplication Course
This 5-day course is for farmers already practising organic farming. By saving their seed they are able to reduce input costs and have a source for their own organic seeds not only for themselves but also for other organic farmers. The course covers methods to keep the seed variety pure and disease free, how to become certified seed growers, and how to preserve and multiply local seed varieties that are suited to Zambian conditions.
