Summer Collaborative Outreach and Research Experience (SCORE)

FAQ for high school teachers

• Science teachers from public and private high schools in the greater New Orleans community (i.e., Orleans, Jefferson, St. Bernard, St. Tammany, and Plaquemines Parishes) are encouraged to participate.

• The stipend for high school teachers will be about $400 per week.

• College credit can be earned for this research experience and tuition may be waived.

In order to apply, send a short statement about how you will use SCORE to enhance your teaching activities, a copy of your résumé, and a letter of recommendation from your current Principal to Dr. Frank Jordan, Biological Sciences, Loyola University, 6363 St. Charles Avenue, New Orleans, 70118.
