Jazz Fest countdown

Here's how long you've got to wait for Jazz Fest to open its gates at 11:00 a.m. on April 23, 2010:

Some Jazz Fest notes:

Bring sunscreen and hand sanitizer. Hats and bandanas are great accessories.
Don't be afraid to wander; go see someone you've never heard of. All the music is good to great.
Look for the Cajun and zydeco dancers mostly at the Fais Do-Do stage right, by the barricades. If you want to dance, just ask someone.
Drink plenty of water.
