~Gay Outreach At Loyola was founded in the Fall of 1991 due to an interest in gay, lesbian, bisexual, & transgendered issues. Initial tension toward its inception has greatly dissipated.
~ In May 2001, GOAL was rechartered under the more-inclusive name Etcetera.
~ The organization seeks to provide education, awareness, support, and services to all members of the Loyola community through weekly meetings, as well as social functions and special events
~To provide a supportive environment for bisexual, gay, lesbian, straight, transgendered and questioning students of Loyola in order to promote the positive development of the whole person.
~ To educate the colligate communtiy formally and informally about the range of issues associated with homosexuality and increase awareness and understanding.
~ To oppose any discrimination.
~ To provide a positive, visible presence here at Loyola
