Recipe for the week of November 20, 1999 Courtesy of Anna Christiana and her

RECIPE
Anna Christiana's "Mama Elizabeth's Snapbean Seafood Stew"

2 quarts water
1 large can tomato sauce
3 lbs snapbeans
1/2 lb crabmeat (lump or claw)
2 lbs smoked sausage
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/4 teaspoon thyme
1/4 lb fresh shallots, chopped
2 cans tomato paste
1 large can tomato puree
1 small onion, chopped
2 lbs shrimp
4 large potatoes, cut in quarters
1/8 teaspoon sea salt
1/4 teaspoon basil
1/4 lb fresh parsley, chopped

Saute shrimp in butter. Boil potatoes. Mix all ingredients, except the seafood, and simmer for 11/2 to 2 hours. Then add seafood and cook another 30 minutes
