Words to the Wise (i.e., those aiming for an A or B)

As I'm sure you have heard through the proverbial grapevine, my lecture exams in this class are comprehensive and attempt to be integrative with major concepts in biology.  Thus, the exams require you to be able to describe, explain, and relate objective knowledge, rather than simply recapitulating gobs of facts.  The Specific Objectives for each exam are geared to get you thinking and preparing for the exam in a way that will help you succeed.   The objectives are not something to start looking at just before an exam, but rather a study guide to help you get ready.  Getting ready  for an upcoming exam starts the day after your last exam, not the day before the next one.
