News: Updated 7/10/06

• First off, thanks to everyone who came out to the inaugural Ska Under the Big Top! We had a lot of fun, and are pleased to announce our next show, Ska Under the Big Top 2: Electric Skankaloo! this Saturday, July 29th at the Big Top (1638 Clio St.). The Know How (FL Progressive ska) are stopping in with locals Lithium Lifestyle (N.O. Punk rawk!), Angry Banana (Coming with the local punk/ska goodness) and one more band we'll be announcing in the coming days. Check the events page for more info.


• We are also testing out a new forum. On the forum, you'll be able to help us put on some better shows by suggesting bands, giving us feedback, finding members for your own band, promoting your band, etc. along with the normal conversations about how much ska sucks or how to throw down the best psuedo-judo pit kick. You can access the forum right now if you look hard enough.
  

• We'll need some help so we can continue to do what we're doing, so these next couple of things are really important:
  
  
  • Since it's been awhile and so much has changed (or hasn't), we'd like to get in touch with bands that have come back to the New Orleans area, want to come back, or who have started up since coming back.   • Ever wanted to learn more about production but didn't know how? Do you like getting into shows for free? Would you like a chocolate covered pretzel?
