Oral Reports on the Middle Ages

Guidelines:
1) Reports should be approximately 10 minutes in length
2) Reports should be told, not read.
3) Reports should include the following:
     a) Definition and description of central terms and concepts
     b) Specific examples from Medieval life
4) Reports may be enhanced by use of Power Point, posters, foods, recordings, etc. as appropriate to the topic.

The Role of Women in the Middle Ages (ALL classes—Noble ladies, lower classes, churchwomen)
Tournaments in the Middle Ages

The Manor and Village in the Middle Ages
Warfare in the Middle Ages (include Famous battles; do not include Crusades)
Weapons and Armor in the Middle Ages
Punishment and Torture in the Middle Ages

Fashions of home in the Middle Ages (Medieval homes, furnishings, utensils)
Entertainment and Recreation in the Middle Ages
Heraldry in the Middle Ages

Medieval Medicine and Science/Witchcraft/Alcemy
Medieval Plagues and Disasters
Pilgrimages and Shrines in the Middle Ages
