Welcome to Loyola University's Women's Resource Center! Having recently returned to New Orleans after more than two years away, I am keenly aware of the importance of connections -- missing those that are gone, maintaining those that are far away, and finding ways of making new ones.
My vision for the Women’s Resource Center is that it be a place that is about making connections. With a focus on the active promotion of women’s empowerment and equality, the center’s intent is to bring people together. Through a variety of programs the goal is to find common ground while honoring and valuing each other’s differences.
The Jesuit tradition of social responsibility, insistence on the search for truth through rigorous exploration, and emphasis on the development of individuals to their full potential has been and will continue to be mirrored in the center’s activities. Come visit us at 103 Mercy Hall and take advantage of our conference room for small gatherings and study space or browse our library for resources.
