Woman of the Day:
Paula Ruiz
A woman I would like to see recognized for her efforts and achievements is Paula Ruiz, Assistant Director of Client Services. She knows her stuff and is a very competent supervisor. In the IT world, finding those two qualities in the same person is rare. Adding to that the fact that she is female, makes it worth a joyous fist in the air and a loud YES!
Paula has worked her way up through the ranks, earning her battle scars honestly. She is a role model and willing mentor for our female (and male) student workers. She is living proof that a woman can do very well in the 'male' world of computer geeks. She always has an ear to listen to gripes, problems or just to allow us to defuse.
