WAC Staff

The program is administered by three full-time staff:

  • Mr. Robert Bell, a graduate of Loyola University ('89) and an MFA in Creative Writing, is responsible for general administration, planning, tutor recruitment and training. He is an extrodinary faculty member in the English Department, where he teaches teaches rhetoric and literature. He is co-author of the textbook, The Handbook for Reading & Writing About Literature.   • Ms. Nancy Rowe holds a B.A. in Business and an MFA in Creative Writing. She is responsible for the day to day supervision of the Writing Center and the peer tutors. She also teaches compostion in the English Department. E-mail: nprowe at loyno.edu
  • Ms. Mary Waguespack holds a B.A. in Literature from Louisiana State University and an M.A. in literature from Boston University and is a faculty member in the English Department. She is responsible for training tutors to assist with English composition papers, and she also provides specialized tutoring and advising for students needing intensive help with basic grammar and ESL issues.
