Start time for Loyola men’s hoops game on Saturday changed
NEW ORLEANS, La. – The January 14 men’s basketball contest between Loyola
University New Orleans and the University of New Orleans at The Den has
been changed from 2 p.m. to 1 p.m. CST due to a conflict with the New
Orleans Saints playoff game on Saturday.
The Wolfpack are currently 9-5 and 2-4 in SSAC competition. The ‘Pack just
completed a two game road trip, defeating Brewton Parker 73-66 on Friday
but falling to #13 Southern Poly 79-83 in overtime. This week, Loyola
returns home where they boast a 5-2 record. The ‘Pack will battle Spring
Hill on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. then UNO on Saturday, now at 1 p.m. Spring
Hill marks the first SSAC West Divisional match-up of the season.
