United Way Campaign
November 14 - December 16, 2011
The United Way for the Greater New Orleans Area works to create opportunities for a good life for all members of our community by investing in programs that target community needs.
We bring together people from across our seven-parish region—people from government, business, faith groups, nonprofits, and ordinary citizens—to provide a coordinated response so we can have a healthy quality of life, a strong workforce and brighter economic future.
Your donation allows more than 100 health and human service agencies to serve people in our region each year.
Helping Loyola Live United
The United Way is positioned to strengthen the community’s ability to impact its own problems. Since 2003, Loyola University New Orleans has raised more than $175,000 for United Way. This has been accomplished with the help of dedicated faculty, staff and students working together to make our community a better place to live.
How do I submit a donation?
- One time fee
- Payroll deduction*
*Payroll deducations will begin on January 1, 2012.
Where can I turn in my pledge forms?
Joseph T. Locascio or Robert Reed, 2011 Co-Chairs, Campus Box 161 or to your Building Communicators directly.

Can I still give after the campaign dates?
YES! If you realize you have forgotten to turn in your pledge form, you can do so up until January 1, 2012. However, you will not be eligible to enter the Raffle Prize.
Can I still designate what program or non-profit I want my donation to go to?

Rewarding your generosity
Every donation to the Loyola University New Orleans United Way Campaign regardless of amount is automatically entered into a raffle to win a United Way Gift Pack. There will be 5 of these prizes. The United Way Gift Pack is a United Way reusable grocery bag with a gift card inside. The gift cards will be from CCs, La Divina, and the Orleans Room.
As a special incentive everyone who donates to the Loyola University New Orleans United Way Campaign via Payroll Deduction will be entered into a second raffle for a $150.00 gift card from Amazon.com. Giving to United Way through Payroll deduction is the easiest way to give, so sign up and help Loyola and you live United.
