Writing About Literature

ENGL-T125-W02
Professor Peggy McCormack

English T125 is designed to develop your critical reading and writing skills through a study of poetry, fiction and film. This class will consist of three units that focus on current trends (if also older texts) in literary study.  We will undertake the study of fairy tales, politicized texts that comment on and critique the history and legacies of colonialism, and contemporary films that have been both celebrated and critiqued for their representations of violence in American culture.
