This is a survey course, emphasizing breadth instead of depth. The main objectives of this course is to familiarize the student with the content and methods of the major areas of psychology and to foster an understanding of the relationship between biological, cognitive, and social processes underlying behavior. This course provides a basic foundation for further study and encourages critical thinking and communication skills as consumers of information in a changing society.
