History of the Holocaust

This course will examine the distant and proximate roots of the Holocaust, and the nature, course, and consequences of the Holocaust.  The student will know the key developments in the Nazi’s anti-Semitic program, will have an understanding of the nature of the Holocaust, and will be able to assess the Holocaust and the role of the perpetrators, enablers, bystanders, and victims
