This course introduces the analytic techniques commonly used for the financial management of business firms. Topics include analysis of financial statements, financial forecasting, asset valuation, capital budgeting, working capital management, and financial structure. The initial part of the course will emphasize the analysis of corporate structures, corporate governance, managerial ethics, financial statements, time value of money and equity valuation. The second part of the course will focus on capital budgeting, long- and short-term financing and international finance.
