Admission

Anyone who is not a currently enrolled Loyola student and who wishes to take courses for credit (summer only) should complete an application for admission. For further information, contact the Office of Admissions at (504) 865-3240, 1-800-4-LOYOLA, or e-mail: admit@loyno.edu. Students who are interested in law courses should contact the Office of Law Records in the College of Law at (504) 861-5550 or http://law.loyno.edu/.

 

Undergraduate Application for Visiting Students

A visiting student is one who does not intend to seek a degree at Loyola but wants to take courses during one semester only. An application must be submitted with a letter of good standing** or the final grade report from the last school attended.

** This letter must state that you are:

  • in good standing (not on academic or financial probation, suspension, or dismissal), and
  • eligible to return.

Nursing - On Line $584 per credit hour
Loyola Institute for Ministry $268 per credit hour

Professional

School of Law (continuing) $1,045 per credit hour

Fees

Student Center Fee $56.50 per semester

Immunization

Visiting students are required to submit immunization documents prior to attending class. You should contact your current Student Health office and ask that they fax a copy of your immunization documents to 504-865-2393 (Attn: Maria Ruiz) or visiting students may sign a waiver form available in our Student Health office.
