November 2016
Juniors and seniors meet with Mr. Crago, obtain instructions and materials to obtain a composite letter from the PHPC. Identify and ask a minimum of four Faculty members or mentors to write evaluations for you.

February 1, 2017
Submit your personal statement to Mr. Crago for the PHPC to review.

March 15, 2017
Deadline for the four evaluators to submit materials to Mr. Crago for the PHPC composite letter.

May/June2017
Prepare your online applications for Fall 2017 admissions AMCAS, AADSAS, VMCAS, AACOMAS, CASPA, ETC. Submit transcript requests from the application service.

June 2017
Stage 1 submission of application materials to standardized application services (i.e. AMCAS, AADSAS, VMCAS, AACOMAS, CASPA, ETC.) begin. To be maximally competitive you want to
submit your applications in the first week of June. You can apply to Non-application service schools by contacting them in early June for instructions.

  • This includes TMSDAS schools and Non-US medical schools.
  • Standardized Exams: COMPUTERIZED, DATES AVAILABLE ONLINE
    • MCAT, PCAT,OAT,DAT,GRE,ETC.
    • Register for the MCAT at www.aamc.org at least 6 weeks prior to a testing date.
  • Prometric Center, 2424 Edenborn Ave., Metairie, LA.
