Short Bio

My job is to help students as they transition to college life at Loyola New Orleans, and to support students through graduation. I achieve this by meeting with students individually or in groups, such as in my course for students who want to improve their GPA and in First in the PACK, a mentoring program for first generation students. For provisionally admitted students in the Magis Program, I act as an academic advisor.

I research new ways to support students at Loyola, including grant applications that aid student persistence. My goal is to help Loyola students enjoy an enriching college experience as they work toward graduation.

Prior to joining the Loyola community, I was the college counselor at the New Orleans Charter Science and Math Academy, a charter school in New Orleans East. I also worked as an advising dean at Columbia University and in undergraduate admissions and faculty administration at New York University.

I graduated from Georgetown, and received a master’s degree in higher education administration from New York University, and a second master’s in higher and postsecondary education administration from Columbia. I am originally from the suburbs outside of New York, and now love living in Uptown New Orleans with my family.
