Health Care Personnel
Loyola's Student Health Services is staffed by a medical director, clinic physicians, charge nurse, nurse/health educator and business manager. The nurse/health educator provides a variety of health education programs for the University community.

- Catherine C. Spiller, M.D., Medical Director
- Provides medical direction for consultation, treatment and hospitalization of students and members of the Loyola University community. Develops policies with respect to health care delivery. Schedules physician staffing for the clinic. Serves as a member of the University Health Committee.

- Clinic physicians provide medical treatment of uncomplicated
illnesses and injuries. Refers to outside physicians or hospitalization
of students and members of the Loyola University community for
illnesses and injuries beyond the scope of the department.

- The charge nurse provides primary health care to students and members of the Loyola University community. Supervises the Nurse/Health Educator as related to patient care. Supervises patient care in the department and provides medical support to physicians. Has reporting responsibility to the medical director. Serves as a member of the University Health Committee.
- Nurse/Health Educator
Provides primary health care to students and members of the Loyola University community. Designs and implements health education programming for students at Loyola University. Supervises the undergraduate student health assistants who reside on campus. Advises the PAWS health education student organization.
