Danna Center Space Allocations
As the Danna Center is undergoing renovation, organization space is being rearranged. Over the past semester, a Student Space Allocation Committee was formed, and subsequently met several times, to create a process for the fair allocation of organization space within the Danna Center. The current committee is composed of delegates from UPB, LUCAP, SGA, PHC, LASO, BSU, and MSA.
Below are the guidelines and policy for space allocation, as well as the Space Allocation Form and maps of the available organization spaces.
The following spaces can be applied for:
- Private office space
- Exclusive use
- Shared use
- Inter-organization space (new area in basement by pool tables)
- Exclusive use of 1 or more desks/computers
- Shared use of 1 or more desks/computers
- There are also 3 desks with computers that will be designated for general use by any student organization without any application needed.

Applications for space are due April 22, 2008 at 5:00PM, submitted in the SGA office.
The Space Allocation Committee will meet that evening to create a space allocation proposal, to be submitted to Dr. Petty for final approval. We sincerely apologize for the short notice, but the committee has been working hard to see that space is allocated and secure before the Spring '08 semester ends. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.
