SGA works hard to make the student experience at Loyola the best it possibly can be. From physical improvements to new programs and activities, SGA is constantly innovating for you.
In the coming months, SGA will be unveiling:
- Campus-wide smoking policy featuring designated smoking zones with new benches and ashtrays
- Campus beautifucation and landscaping projects
- Sustainability garden allowing campus community members to obtain gardening space and supplies
Here are some things your SGA has accomplished:
2008-2009 SGA
- Funded new Residential Quad Fence
- Fountain in the Danna Student Center courtyard by Joan Miró
- Expanded college readership program to provide more free newspapers on campus
- Created text book subsidies for students with unfulfilled financial need
- Created gradutate exam subsidies for students with unfulfilled financial need taking MCAT, LSAT, GRE, and GMAT
- Internet jukebox in Satchmos
- New billiards equiptment in Satchmos
2007-2008 SGA
- Gaming tables in the Danna Student Center
- Music and Fine Arts Fest
- Loup Garou starring Everclear, Rebirth Brass Band, and Blind Melon
- Art on Campus
- Sculpture in the Academic Quad
