Drive

Loyola service learning students who use a private vehicle to get to their service learning site are eligible for a prepaid gas card to offset travel costs.  Prepaid gas cards are available in Bobet 113.  Note: office hours are MWF 2-3 pm and TTh 1-2 pm.

Policies

• Any Loyola service learning student who regularly drives a private vehicle to a service learning destination is entitled to one $10 prepaid gas card per semester.
• Loyola service learning students who serve more than 40 hours per semester at their service learning agency are entitled to two $10 prepaid gas cards per semester.
• Loyola service learning students who regularly provide rides to other service learning students are entitled to two $10 prepaid gas cards per semester.  We are grateful to the Blue Cross Blue Shield Foundation of Louisiana, which provided a generous grant to fund this carpooling incentive through 2012.
• Students who use a private vehicle to get to their service learning destination assume all liability associated with this choice.  Students must be covered by appropriate insurance.  See liability waiver for details.
