Service learning and Jesuit mission

The Office of Service Learning enacts Loyola's Jesuit mission of forming students for lives of service and social responsibility.  Service learning connects teaching and learning to the university's larger mission of advancing social justice and the common good.  Because of this, it helps prepare young men and women "to lead meaningful lives with and for others; to pursue truth, wisdom, and virtue; and to work for a more just world."
