_________ Brainstorm about the application potential to your course.
_________ Check the Agency List in the Service Learning Office.
_________ Consider your goals and motives.
_________ Choose a course service option.
_________ Alter your course description and syllabus to reflect the change (See the "Service Learning Curricular Design Work Sheet").
_________ Explain and promote the ideas to your class OR
_________ Invite the Service Learning Director to class for a presentation.
_________ Have students complete and return the "Service Learning Student Application".
_________ Work with students to develop their potential.
_________ Teach students to make the connections between theory and real-life application.
_________ Link the service experience to your academic course content through deliberate and guided reflection.
_________ Remind students to do the service hours and get the paper work completed.
_________ Evaluate your Service Learning outcomes.
_________ Complete the "Service Learning Faculty Post-Survey" and return it to the Service Learning Office by the last day of class.
