ARC of Greater New Orleans
The Arc of Greater New Orleans is committed to securing for all people with mental retardation the opportunity to develop, function, and live to their fullest potential. Adults with developmental delays and cognitive disabilities spend the day with one another and the Arc staff engaging in a wide variety of activities designed to maximize their function.
Loyola service learning students can interact with clients in numerous ways, and students are encouraged to use their own interests and skills to implement appropriate activities. Examples might include: playing games, engaging in fitness or movement activities, singing or playing music, working on puzzles, reading, drawing, art, photography, computers, skits and drama, organizing or participating in outings and field trips, etc.

Days and times: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 3:00 pm; aftercare is provided until 6:00 pm.
