Anna's Arts for Kids

Anna’s Arts for Kids is a positive youth development organization which provides after-school tutoring and training in the arts for youth 3- 16 years old.  The program has four core components; academic enrichment, arts and culture exposure, community service and learning about nature.  Arts classes include dance, drama, music and visual arts.

If service learners are interested in a career working with children, they can expect to receive hands-on training in this aspect of their future career.  They will also learn about issues of poverty and its effect on children and the resourcefulness of children in overcoming the challenges that life presents.  Service learners will learn what it means to be a role model for youth who aspire to go to college.

Service learning tasks include after-school tutoring and homework assistance for youth (preK-8th grade) and Saturday arts activities.
