The historic and award-winning Hotel Monteleone will be host to URMIA's 34th Annual Conference. The hotel is located on Royal Street in the heart of the city, the French Quarter. Perfectly situated one block off Bourbon Street, the Monteleone is the ideal hub for a visit to the Quarter, where you will find restaurants, clubs, art galleries, antiques and fine gifts within a stone's throw.

The Hotel Monteleone still has rooms available from Monday, Sept. 22nd through Wednesday, Sept. 24th. The entire weekend prior to the conference is sold out at the hotel (see below for alternate hotel info). The Hotel has agreed to offer the URMIA conference rate beyond the last day of the conference if rooms are available.

The conference rate at the Hotel Monteleone is $153 single, $174 double. Applicable city and state taxes are thirteen percent (13%) plus two dollars ($2.00) per room, per night occupancy tax. Taxes are subject to change without notice.

Hotel Cancellation Policy: 72 hours notice to cancel is required. Deposit equal to one night's stay is required to hold a room. Please visit the hotel's website for further information.

The Holiday Inn French Quarter is a perfect overflow for the Hotel Monteleone. The door of the HIFQ is merely a block up Royal Street. The hotel is offering us rates of $135, with a deposit equal to one room night's cost. The deposit can be refunded if the reservations is cancelled 24 hours prior to scheduled arrival.

The JW Marriott is a very nice, upscale boutique hotel designed to accomodate the business traveler. AND it is on Canal Street, only two blocks from the Hotel Monteleone.
