There you will hear tales and stories of growing up on the Bayou, or as they say down there "Ba You, Cher!" You will witness spectacular wildlife in their native habitat. Observe blue herons, egrets, nutria, turtles, and of course - the star of the swamp - alligators! After this excursion, you will understand why Louisiana's mysterious swamps are considered to be the "crown jewel" of the Louisiana Purchase and why often the only method of transportation is by boat. Enjoy a tasty boxed lunch which will be provided, but remember - "Don't feed the alligators!"
