Staff Selection Process for Summer 2008

 

JOB DESCRIPTIONS

Residential Life employs a wide variety of student leaders throughout the summer, as part of the Housing, Conference, and Office Staff. To apply for a Summer Staff position, submit a resumé and completed Summer Staff Application (please complete form electronically, print and submit).

The Housing Staff manages the operation of student housing for summer school students and students performing internships in New Orleans. The Housing Staff members live and work exclusively in Biever Hall.

The Conference Staff manages the housing needs for all summer conference groups that stay on campus. The Conference Staff members live in Buddig and Carrollton Halls, and work in all four residence halls.

The Office Staff assists in the administrative operations of the Department of Residential Life. Office Assistants work primarily in the Biever Hall office, and the Mail Clerk is responsible for sorting and forwarding student mail and packages for all four Residence Halls.

  2. Must meet minimum GPA requirement of 2.5 for potential employment period (cum. & sem.)
