Residence Hall Move-In 2009-2010
NEW FIRST-YEAR AND TRANSFER STUDENTS who are attending Lagniappe Session #4 (Aug 26-27) may move in beginning at 8:00 AM on Wednesday, August 26, 2009. Simply check-in for Lagniappe and your room at the same time in the Danna Center, St. Charles Room. The Lagniappe Orientation program begins at 11:00 AM.
NEW FIRST-YEAR AND TRANSFER STUDENTS who attended a Lagniappe session during June or July may move in beginning at 8:00 AM on Friday, August 28, 2009. Check-in will be in the Danna Center, St. Charles Room.
RETURNING STUDENTS may move in beginning at 8:00 AM on Saturday, August 29, 2009. To check-in go directly to your assigned residence hall.
LAW STUDENTS may move in to Cabra Hall beginning at 8:00 AM on Thursday, August 13, 2009. To check-in go directly to Cabra Hall and contact the number posted. Residential Life staff will be in training, and will respond as quickly as possible to help you check-in.
MicroFridges
MicroFridges are a combination mini-fridge, freezer, and microwave unit that reduces electrical usage and fire risk by using a single power cord. Microwaves are ONLY allowed in the residence halls at Loyola University New Orleans if they are part of an official MicroFridge unit.
MicroFridges may be rented for the academic year through Residential Life's partner company, Collegiate Concepts. Cost for 1yr. rental is $249. Reserve now and your MicroFridge will be delivered and waiting for you in your room when you arrive on campus!

In-Room Safes
For added security, Residential Life is also offering in-room safes for sale only.
Safes may be purchased through Residential Life's partner company, Collegiate Concepts. Cost for purchase of a safe is $199. Purchase now and your safe will be delivered and waiting for you in your room when you arrive on campus!

Campus Dining and Meal Plan Requirement
