NEWSPAPER AND MAGAZINES
Paper for the newspaper and magazines dumpster is as follows:
- Newspapers
- Advertisements in newspapers
- Magazines with thin glue bindings or stapled bindings
- Paper bags
- Please do not mix newspaper and magazines with office paper
We CANNOT recycle:
- Phone books with thick glue binding
- Thick catalogs with thick glue binding
- Bound text books
- Corrugated cardboard (Kraft paper) – has a different chemical process
- Paper lined with plastic or metal
- Paper coated with wax
- Paper with food debris
The newspaper and magazine dumpster is located on West Road, on the Freret side of West Road Garage.
Please bring newspaper and magazines to that dumpster directly on your own, as WFF will be responsible only for office paper.
Faculty and staff, you may want to create a separate box for newspapers and magazines in your office areas. You or a student worker can then take the newspaper and magazines directly to the correct dumpster.
Thanks for you help with the sorting. It is appreciated.
