Textbooks
Large orange, green and white cardboard boxes are located on the first floor of most major buildings.
They are clearly marked for textbook recycling and are next to the office paper collection bins.
The collected items are sent to Better World Books. This is an organization that sells or recycles the books to help fund the following literacy projects:
- Books for Africa
- Invisible Children
- National Center for Family Literacy
- Room to Read
- The Prison Book Program
- The Robinson Community Learning Center
- Open Books
