American Red Cross Lifeguarding Certification Course
This all-inclusive course teaches candidates the skills and knowledge needed by professional lifeguards to prevent and respond to aquatic emergencies at swimming pool facilities. All required CPR and first aid skills are included in this course. Lifeguarding is a great opportunity to make a difference and to earn money at a job you love!
Wed 9/16 5pm - 10pm
Thur 9/17 5pm - 10pm
Fri 9/18 5pm - 10pm
Sat 9/19 10am - 7pm
Sun 9/20 11am - 7pm
*Must attend all sessions.
Cost: $200 non-members
$150 Sports Complex members
$100 re-certification (must attend all days and provide proof of previous certification)
$50 non-refundable deposit due at registration- minimum number of registrants required to host course
Course Prerequisites:
- minimum age of 15 by the last date of the course
- 300 yard continuous swim
- Starting in the water, swim 20 yards, surface dive 7–10 feet,
retrieve a 10-pound object, return to the surface, swim 20
yards back to the starting point with the object and exit the
water without using a ladder or steps, within 1 minute 40
seconds
