Internships
Students are encouraged to do internship work at a variety of governmental and private offices in New Orleans, Louisiana, or their home city or state during summer or during the regular fall or spring semesters. The department announces internship opportunities of which it is made aware, but also encourages students to seek out internship opportunities on their own by utilizing their own contacts. Up to three hours of academic credit can be given for an internship, after proper arrangements have been made with the department chairperson.
