The Loyola University New Orleans Play Therapy Center of Education and Research is the world's third such center designated by the Association for Play Therapy.
Director Dr. LeAnne Steen founded the center in 2008 and she maintains the designation by growing play therapy curriculum opportunities, publishing play therapy research, developing a play therapy library and maintaining a play therapy training laboratory.
