Social Challenge Project
The process of selecting, planning and implementing the social challenge project provides an opportunity for each fellow to purposefully increase their world view and develop a personal leadership style that models the Jesuit value of leadership in service.
The social challenge project is planned in such a way that all fellows coordinate an effort to lead their peers in service of the common good. The common good includes the Loyola community, the local community of New Orleans and ultimately the global community. Serving each community well means extending the invitation to contribute to the common good themselves in order to truly benefit from being served.
